...You Will Not Be Forgotten By Me...
Isaish 44:1-8
1 Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; And Israel,
whom I have chosen:
2 Thus saith the Lord that made thee, And formed thee
from the womb, which will help thee;
Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; And thou, Jesurun,
whom I have chosen.
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, And floods upon
the dry ground: I will pour my
spirit upon thy seed, And my blessing upon thine offspring:
4 And they shall spring up as among the grass,
As willows by the water courses.
5 One shall say, I am the Lord’s; And another shall call himself
by the name of Jacob; And another shall subscribe with his hand
unto the Lord, And surname himself by the name of Israel.
6 Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel,
And his redeemer the Lord of hosts;
I am the first, and I am the last; And beside me there is no God.
7 And who, as I, shall call, And shall declare it, and set it in
order for me, Since I appointed the ancient people?
And the things that are coming,
and shall come, let them shew unto them.
8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: Have not I told thee from that time,
And have declared it? ye are even my witnesses.
Is there a God beside me? Yea, there is no God; I know not any.
Isaiah 44:21–23
21 Remember these, O Jacob And Israel; for thou art my servant:
I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel,
thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions,
And, as a cloud, thy sins:
Return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
23 Sing, O ye heavens; for the Lord hath done it:
Shout, ye lower parts of the earth:
Break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest,
and every tree therein:
For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob,
And glorified himself in Israel.
Exodus 19
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
Deuteronomy 14:2
2 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
Deuteronomy 26:19
19 And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken.
1 Samuel 12:22
22 For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people.
Psalm 29:11
11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; The Lord will bless his people with peace.
Deuteronomy 33:29
29 Happy art thou, O Israel: Who is like unto thee,
O people saved by the Lord,
The shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency!
And thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee;
And thou shalt tread upon their high places.
Psalm 28:6–9
6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard
the voice of my supplications.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
Therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
And with my song will I praise him.
8 The Lord is their strength, And he is the saving
strength of his anointed.
9 Save thy people, And bless thine inheritance:
Feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
Psalm 40:17
17 But I am poor and needy;
yet the Lord thinketh upon me:
Thou art my help and my deliverer;
Make no tarrying, O my God.
Isaiah 41:10
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: Be not dismayed;
for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea,
I will help thee; Yea,
I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 55:1–3
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,
And he that hath no money;
Come ye, buy, and eat; Yea, come, buy wine
and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread?
And your labour for that which satisfieth not?
Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good,
And let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: Hear,
and your soul shall live;
And I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
Even the sure mercies of David.
Matthew 5:6
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
John 4:34–38
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
John 6:35–40
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Isaiah 59:21–60:1
21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord;
My spirit that is upon thee, And my words which
I have put in thy mouth, Shall not depart out of thy mouth,
Nor out of the mouth of thy seed,
Nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord,
From henceforth and for ever.
60 Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
Luke 11:9–13
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Luke 24:46–49
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
John 14:16–18
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Proverbs 28:20
20 A faithful man shall abound with blessings:
But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
Isaiah 30:23
23 Then shall he give the rain of thy seed,
That thou shalt sow the ground withal;
And bread of the increase of the earth,
And it shall be fat and plenteous:
In that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.
Matthew 6:25–33
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Deuteronomy 28:2–6
2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. 6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
Psalm 103:1–5
1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: And all that is within me,
bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;
So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 66:8
8 O bless our God, ye people,
And make the voice of his praise to be heard:
